On the first of July 5a started a hiking tour at Küpfern/Weyer. After a very hot 3,5-hours climb through the wilderness to the Stallburgalm we were all exhaused, hot and sweaty - but no shower in sight. Luckily there was an amazing waterfall where we could refresh ourselves. The hut was simple, all of us had to sleep in one big room, but the tenants Manuela and Josef were really friendly and made us feel welcome. After a thunderstorm in the afternoon, we enjoyed the evening strolling around the pasture. Lateron we played card games, some of us played the guitar and the rest sang along. Josef even played the accordion and taught us how to dance a "Borischa". On the next day we climbed the highest mountain of Grossraming, the Almkogel. Funnily enough, it was rather chilly up there, but one of us started playing the ukulele. Our last stop was at the Ennserhütte where we had lunch, then we headed back to the valley and took the train to Steyr in Grossraming. It was not an easy hike, but certainly one full of memories.

Your teachers, Mr Klausberger and Miss Schörkhuber, have thoroughly enjoyed doing this hiking trip with you! Thanks 5a!
